Lobby Wolk to vote for clean cars

Davisites can help curb global warming and speed up the availability of more economical, fuel-efficient vehicles by contacting our Assemblymember Lois Wolk and urging her to vote AYE for SB 493, the Clean Car Discount Act.

This pro-consumer, pro-environment bill is supported by a long list of environmental and consumer groups including the Union of Concerned Scientists, Sierra Club, Environment CA, Consumers Union, CALPIRG, and Consumers for Auto Reliability and Safety.

It is carefully crafted to create incentives for fuel-efficient vehicles in each vehicle category. So even if you need to transport a large family, you will still have good options that cost no extra or even offer a rebate.

Auto dealers and manufacturers are trying to kill the bill.
